Tattooing as a ritual practice has accompanied human beings in personal and group processes since time immemorial, associated not only with modification in pursuit of beauty but, above all, as maps of a person's individual, familial, and social history . There are also many traditions where tattoos are used as a magical and even medicinal resource .
There is no place on the planet where this practice has not been practiced throughout history. Each tradition has developed its own unique technique and symbolism that, while preserving a unique culture, has united distant peoples through the mysterious network of the collective unconscious.
Through permanent body modification, through pain, we find in tattoos a portal to self-knowledge and personal transformation where, layer by layer, we can reveal the essence that dwells within us, accompanying us in this process of psycho-emotional, spiritual, and even physical healing . It is also a magical act through which we can, through intention, invoke a certain power or energy that helps us illuminate our internal process.
Thus, I am merely a channel through which the magic of presence , your intention, and the sacredness of your path of personal transformation are captured on your skin. I am grateful for each exchange, honoring your own process , sharing it with you, and thus transforming our being in each ceremony.
